1) you need to make sure you have an X running on a machine.
2) If you have X running, look in either /etc/CORBA/servers/* or /usr/etc/CORBA/servers/* 
and gimme the list of what is there.
3) what are you using ? are you using helix binaries or did you compiled from source ?
