starting gnome with enlightenment

hi, i'm new to the gnome world, checked most of the documents but can't find
an answer to my question amazingly.  i installed enlightenment 16.5 and can
startx and get enlightenment working however i don't know how to get gnome
working with enlightenment.  what are the nessecary commands in my .xinitrc?
exec /path/enlightenment gets me into enlightenment but i'd like to have the
gnome panel and such start up automatically as well.
