MC 4.5.46: cannot change desktop icons

Hi,

I just did an upgrade of (G)MC from 4.5.40
from SuSE6.3 to 4.5.46 or 4.5.48 from source
tarballs. Compiling went fine. After
starting
gnome, I got ugly fonts for the desktop icons
and
I couldn't change the desktop icons, at
least
the new ones weren't saved. Within the
properties-menu of a desktop icon I coild
select a
new one, but when I pressed ok, nothing
happend. After switching back to 4.5.40
desktop icons
can be changed again.
