I'm afraid you'll have to wait. As people have doubtless seen, Slashdot
has run a story on the availability of 1.2, which hasn't actually
been released/announced yet. (At least, it's not on Gnotices yet.)

What is probably out is the stuff on the master site, and
variously-completed syncing from the mirror sites, some of which are now
doubtless having trouble finishing getting their copies because all the
people who reload Slashdot every five minutes are now hammering on the
site in their attempts to be the first person to install 1.2.

I would imagine that when the mirrors were ready, the plan was to
announce it with the changes on Gnotices.

Note: this isn't official or anything. It's just my understanding of
typical release procedure, my reading of the update about "hold off
for the mirrors" that appears to have been added to the story, and
my memories of Slashdot announcing releases of the Linux kernel, RH
distros, Mozilla and gods know what else before the mirrors have updated.
I would put money on this being what's up.

Telsa
