Problem Compiling Gnome 1.2

I've tried to compile gnome 1.2.

I've compiled all the libs (including gnome libs)
but when I try to compile control-center or gnome-core,
I get messages like:


all concerning the gnome_window_icon* funtions.

These functions seems to be in the gnomeui library wich is 
compiled.

So please, hellllpppppp.
