Re: making the panel smaller??

This is most probably caused by an applet that does not have support for
all the panel sizes. The panel can only be as small as the smallest applet,
and if one applet does not have support for the smaller panel size, you
are out of luck.

Short Term Fix: Remove the offending applet(s). Put it in a seperate,
bigger panel in the corner, perhaps.

Long Term Fix: Email gnome-list and the author of the applet with the
bug, or just file a bug using bug-buddy.
