GnomeICU in KDE -- Standalone?

Dear friends:
Simple question?
Is there a way to run GnomeICU in KDE without launching the Gnome panel?
Most Gnome applications work as standalone programs in KDE. But not
GnomeICU. Any way to do this?
It would be wonderful if all KDE and Gnome applications were completely
interoperatable. Let's hope that will be the case in the future.
