gnome + enlightenment

 i intalled helix gnome, and later i installed e 0.16.4.... then startx...and it started only gnome (no enlightenment). 
What archives must i write for configuring it to start e + gnome?
i have tried to start only enlightenment writing in ~/.xinitrc enlightenment,
and then only e started, and then in a xterm i wrote gnome-session, and
then it worked !!
i have been looking to the option window manager in control center, but there
aren't anything to change the default window manager, there is sawfich by
default and i can't change it

what can i do for starting them together?
