Gdk-WARNING error messages getting annoying - how to fix?




Hello all.

I'm running GNOME 1.2 on FreeBSD 4.0 Release built from the ports
collection.  I've been haveing annoying Gdk-WARNING error messages.  It
keeps mentioning that my c library doesn't support locale, or something
like that.  I've read the manpages for setlocale and I have tried to look
for similar problems within the mailing archives but I haven't found any
answers on how to corret this situation.  Any advice on correcting this
would be appreciated.  Thanks!

  I'm going to include my current xinit.log file.  Hopefully that should
