Duplicate Gnome Icons after gnome-core upgrade

Folks:

 I have duplicate gimp icons in my menu and removing with the menu editor only
exacerbates the problem. Also gimp electric eyes and GQview no longer work in
the KDE environment. When they are activated I get the message:

KFM error

could not access
file:/etc/x11/applink/Graphics/gimp.desktop

The same is true for electric eyes and GQview. They do work however in Gnome.


Any help would be greatly appreciated.
