gnome libs 1.0.56 and core applets 1.1.4

1. How do I get an rpm of gnome libs 1.0.56? I've tried to make one
from the tar.gz but it failed.
2. I've install the gnome applets 1.1.4 but if I say no to all the pop
up for starting a new panel, then there is no more panel.
