Re: Is gnome-core-1.1.2 safe for the "ordinary" gnome user now?

Hi Rebecca and the rest,

several people asked me basically the same, so I decided to put my specs
and additional stuff (patches, files not found at the original site) for
GNOME and related packages on the web.

Find the stuff here:

http://rhlx01.fht-esslingen.de/~nils/gnome-rpm-stuff.html

It's there as a bzipped as well as a gzipped tar and as single files where
you can get only what you need.

every spec file).

I used them for builds on Red Hat Linux 6.1 (I even have some original
packages for which there are no specs on the pages: gnome-linuxconf,
gnome-objc*, gnome-users-guide*). The order in which you have to build the
packages is roughly the same as mentioned on the GNOME web site, feel free
to ask if you have problems.

If you have any comments, suggestions or enhancements, tell them to me.
