Re: problems with Gnome installation



Call off the dogs... The problem was that -- somehow -- my system expected
Gnome to be in /opt/gnome. This is the default for SuSE, even though I have
not installed Gnome from my distribution.

A symlink from /opt/gnome to /usr/local solved my problems!
