Panel help

Hi -

Let's see if anybody can help me with this.  I am trying to add the Desk
Guide panel to my panel menu (it has misteriously disappeared from there).
When I try doing so, nothing happens, and I get this error message in my
.xsession-errors logs:

Gdk-ERROR **: BadWindow (invalid Window parameter)
  serial 654 error_code 3 request_code 2 minor_code 0
Gdk-ERROR **: BadWindow (invalid Window parameter)
  serial 655 error_code 3 request_code 61 minor_code 0

Any idea on how I could fix this?
