Oops! I did not say what I wanted to say. I'm looking for a way to 
keep GDM from restarting the X server. Xdm has this option. My Matrox 
Millenium II does not like being restarted. It will freeze. It's 
either a problem with my particular board or a bug in the SVGA server.
