Compiliation Display in CodeCommander

Hello:
I have CodeCommander 0.9.7, a Gnome IDE, and it's display window for
compiliation won't stay open. The command to display the compiliation
results is xterm -e gcc -g %2 -o %3 where %2 is foo.c and %3 is foo. The
IDE compiles alright but the xterm window flashes very quickly. Any
suggestions on how I can keep it open?
