Try putting this in your ~/.orbitrc:
jacob@ulysses:jacob$ cat .orbitrc
ORBIIOPUSock=1
ORBIIOPIPv4=0
ORBIIOPIPv6=0
This may help, but I am not toally sure. It does disable remote
applets and stuff from working, so don't do this if you need that to
work.
