KDevelop does *not* support GNOME/GTK+ in any meaningful way. All it
does is set up a source tree and a plain GTK+ main window (not even a
GNOME application window!) and then lets you fill in code by hand.
This support is only symbolic, it's purely there for tick-mark value,
to lure people into trying it out and ending up programming in Qt
because there's not even a frigging *form painter* for GTK in that
beast.

Use Glade.
