Icons and gnome-core

Have the new icons be added to the RELEASED version of gnome-core or are 
they only in CVS (with gnome-core) or are they in their own CVS directory 
(gnome-icons).
I'd really like to see the new additions, I mainly use the gurulabs RPMs, 
so I was wondering if it is included in those.
