I'm not sure why it fails to build--I don't have db2html either, but I haven't
had any problems compiling--I just don't get help files. By the way, good luck
getting this question answered. The FAQ is pretty sparse on this subject, and
looking through the past few months, I've noticed that the question has come up
several times, with (almost?) no responses. I recall seeing one response that
was basically to create a simple script wrapper around jade, but now I can't seem
to find it. I've been trying to figure this one out on and off for months (I'm
trying again tonight). I just wish someone would put together a FAQ on how to
set up what's necessary for Gnome documentation. I don't know why such an arcane
technique was used. I've been reading the various pages for DocBook, Jade, and
DSSSL, but I still don't quite understand how it all fits together. I just
compiled all of KDE 1.1.2 from source, and it doesn't need much else other than
standard tools (from what I can tell). Too bad Gnome isn't this easy.
