That makes sense. ;-) But I'm not using RPMs at all--I've done it 
all from source .tar.gz.  This file's not part of the SRPM either.

That's what I wonder too.  I think the Makefile should install this 
file.  I didn't look in the tarball for this file, but I'll look now.
