E16 and Gnome 1.53

  Hello all,  I just upgraded my Gnome to version 1.53 and Enlightenment
to v16. Upon doing that I discovered that I could no longer launch
Gnome's control panel. Even in a terminal, no error message or anything
apparent. Anyone seen this before?  Thanks

P.S.  I'm running a Redhat 6.0 install with XFree86 3.3.3  on a AMD 400
w/128MB of ram.
