Drag & Drop

These instructions are found in the 
Gnome Users Guide (Section 7 entitled Drag & Drop in the Main Menu

Dragging Directories - you can drag a directory out of
the GNOME File MAnager and place it on the panel. this will create a new menu
wich allows you easy access to files in that directory.

however for me this places the directory on the panel but does not display any
files in that directory.

Please Advise. PS. i think i have all the latest october stuff.
