Errors building gnome-applets from CVS

I have built GTK+ 1.2.6, GLIB 1.2.6, gnome-libs-1-0 and gnome-core-1-0.
I've tried to compile Gnome-Applets (HEAD and the gnome-core-1-0 tagged
versions).  When I do I get these errors:
