question on gnome-pilot

I'm trying to use the latest version of gnome-pilot 1.33.  I'm having some
problems with getting it to work.  I have a /dev/pilot that works using
pilot-link 0.9.3.  For some reason gnome-pilot can't seem to link up.  Has
others gotten their pilot working with gnome-pilot?  I'm not sure what I'm
doing wrong here. Also some of the conduits does not seem to be building
(ie addresses doesn't seem to work)
