Bug in gnome-core (panel)

I'm running all the latest RPMS for GNOME (from Dax Kelson's 1.0.50pre
section).
Anyway, I got a problem with the current panel, if I try to change the
Panel settings from 'Default' to pixmap or to 'color' the panel crashes (no
core dump from what I can see) and restarts. Checking the desktop I got a
bunch of 'Bad window' messgaes. Anyone else experiencing this?
