a problem with gmc

Hello !
Today I compiled mc-4.5.32 with gnome-libs-1.0.9, but unfortunatly I
cannot start it.
Enlightenment crashes and before I can read this message:
Gdk-WARNING **: locale not supported by C library
Speicherzugriffsfehler (memory access error)
Maybe anybody can help me ?!
