xscreensaver and gnome

 hi all i installed the newest xscreensaver package 
 but i only can select the no screensaver and random screensaver in the gnome 
 menu how can i select all the hacks i isntalled ..i can select the modules if i use  xscreensaver-demo ..but i want to select them from within my gnome 
 configuration tool..but there are  no available!
 what is wrong
 anyone can help????
