Window manager (was RH6.0 Gnewbie usability questions)

Regarding Enlightenment chrome vs. switching to another window manager,
you might try keeping with Enlightenment but just turning off some
features. If you use large non-tiled images in the background, that will
eat up memory and slow things down. Go into the Enlightenment configurator
program and edit the options and you're likely to see some amount of speed
increase.

I personally don't like WindowMaker at all, but it's a popular window
manager. You may like it. I know that the Fvwm guys are working on getting
a new release of Fvwm2 out sometime, and it will include GNOME support.
This is a cool thing, because I like Fvwm2 quite a bit.
