Hi,
I'm pretty sure this is not gnome related, but I can't think where else to
ask. When compiling gdm (latest version of all Gnome files) or several other
packages I get an error trying to resolve 'yp_get_domain_name' symbol. I'm
pretty sure this is from a missing development library somewhere but I can't
figure out how to check which one. Does anyone have any ideas where this is
coming from?
The config.log also contains a note to the effect that a conf test program
has failed, (just underneath the check for TCP wrappers.
Sorry this is so vague, I'm not at my machine and I forgot to note down the
error.
Thanks,
Steve
Ps. I thought previously that the yp_ suffix was usually indicative of Flex
or Bison but both are installed and working fine, on a Debian2.1r2 install.
