Gnucash

Hi all,
I 've got a curious problem with gnucash.I have  the latest build
(1.1.27),and I was trying to build it."Configure" runs OK(with the
"--with-swig" flag) but when typing "make" it stumbles at the following
line,which it repeats over and over again:

" -stat -perl5 -I.. -I../../../src/engine -0 gnucash-engine-perl5_wrap.c
gnucash.engine.i"

I 've got a standard Redhat 5.2(with the updates) with the latest Gnome
built from source.I had the same problem with 1.1.26,too-maybe it's got
something to do with my perl?I really would appreciate some insight into
this.Thanx,
