Gnome Pager + Panel config files

Can anybody reliably edit the Gnome Pager properties without it crashing? I just can't do it. I have very few other big gnome problems, so I wonder if this happens to everyone.

So, seeing how I can't go through the GUI, I tryb to edit a text file to change it. Well, which one do I edit. I see things like: Session-a14815  Session-b04013  Session-b07531  Session-b20860
Session-b00350  Session-b04063  Session-b15664  default

Were is the gnome_pager config file?
