There's currently a discussion in the german heirarchy going on about
creating de.alt.comp.gnome which has been started by me and will
result in the appropriate newgroup on Monday or Tuesday next week.

Note to german readers: Beteiligt Euch, die Gruppe wird zwar
durchgehen, aber ich will eine ausgereifte Gruppe und keinen
Kladderadatsch.

Initiating a new newsgroup is a matter of RfD and CfV, some hundred
Voters and lots of work. If the german group is created I'll write a
RfD for a comp.-Group if there's interest.
