gnome-session -- don't save session upon exit

I saw somebody earlier asked if it was possible to take session
snapshot that gnome-session should use for further sessions. I don't
need this I only need a way to stop gnome-session from saving at every
exit. 

I don't want all the apps I didn't exit to start up again next time.

Is this possible?
