GDM User Pix

How do I change the pix on the gdm user list? Also-another question.. I updated
the gnome-core and gnome-libs and now linuxconf and EE dont work.. I get an
error:
ee: error in loading shared libraries
/usr/lib/libgnomeui.so.0: undefined symbol: argp_program_version

and the linuxconf gets:
remadmin (GUI frontend) exiting abnormaly

whassat?
I have gtk 1.2 and imlib 1.9.4.. it was working b4 the core/libs update..
