I don't know. I recompiled gdb against glibc 2.0.7pre6 with the following
pathces applied :
gdb-4.17-4.17.0.8.diff.gz
gdb-4.17.0.8-4.17.0.9.diff.gz
and it seems to work with glibc 2.1.
