Re: slashapp applet? locks up my system



I have noticed actually a deeper problem, and that is that it seems some
applets can actually lock the panel up tight when restarted through the
session management.  Slashapp is one, gnomeicu is another.  

The problem here is twofold, firstly, that the apps are misbehaving on
restart in session management, but secondly, and more importantly, NO
applet should be able to lock the panel, ever.

In both of these cases, if the offending applet is killed (via a shell and
kill -9) the panel recovers and runs.
