Help with compiling gnome-libs-0.99.4, I get ESD errors in ..libgnome/.libs/

I need help with compiling gnome-libs-0.99.4. I have all the proper
libraries compiled into my Redhat 5.2 system but I get the following
compiler error:

This is after a successful configure. Does anyone know of a solution to
my problem? I would like to be trying the system.

I also have two other questions, first is why do we have a pre-compiled
files in .lib? Other is what has happened to the Bug Tracking
Interface? It seems not to let me post my bugs. The system has not
been working since, January 14th.
