User Guide from CVS

The Gnome User Guide taken from CVS give me this:

[cgabriel@localhost desktop-docs]$ ./autogen.sh --prefix=/usr/

Running automake --gnu  ...
Running autoconf ...
Running ./configure --enable-maintainer-mode --enable-compile-warnings
--prefix=/usr/ ...
configure: error: can not find sources in . or ..
[cgabriel@localhost desktop-docs]$ 


probably it's something with the Makefile.am ?
