Ok, I'm going with this:

We're providing both binary *AND* source on separate, but packaged
together CDs, or on the same FTP site. The only costs is the telephone
bill to people who FTP it, or the writing and postage to those who ask
for the CDs.

As far as I know, the (L)GPL licences are happy with that. I do not seek
to make a profit, nor do I wish to break any licenses.

If this is fine, then don't reply. If it's wrong, mail it to the list.
