Well, what I ended up doing is moving /usr/local/include/gdk and
/usr/local/include/gtk to gdk1.1 and gtk1.1, installing gtk/gdk 1.0, compiling
gimp, and then moving the current gtk/ and gdk/ to gtk1.0 and gdk1.0, and using
symlinks in /usr/local/include to point to the version I need for whatever I'm
compiling (in this case, gimp).
