After looking more into it:
[asmodai@daemon] (17) $ ll
total 76
1 drwxr-xr-x 2 asmodai asmodai - 512 Feb 12 19:43 ./
1 drwxr-xr-x 5 asmodai asmodai - 512 Feb 12 19:43 ../
2 -rw-r--r-- 1 asmodai asmodai - 1377 Nov 27 18:47 CosEventChannel.idl

2 -rw-r--r-- 1 asmodai asmodai - 1355 Nov 27 18:47
CosTypedEventChannel.idl
1 -rw-r--r-- 1 asmodai asmodai - 378 Nov 5 16:38
CosTypedEventComm.idl
13 -rw-r--r-- 1 asmodai asmodai - 12714 Feb 12 19:43 Makefile
3 -rw-r--r-- 1 asmodai asmodai - 2293 Feb 5 02:57 Makefile.am
13 -rw-r--r-- 1 asmodai asmodai - 12705 Feb 12 05:43 Makefile.in
1 -rw-r--r-- 1 asmodai asmodai - 868 Nov 5 16:38 README
7 -rw-r--r-- 1 asmodai asmodai - 6966 Jan 8 21:45 event-consumer.c
31 -rw-r--r-- 1 asmodai asmodai - 31269 Feb 2 23:45 orbit-event-server.c
Ugggghnnn, apparantly the idl-compiler doesn't get called correctly each
time under FreeBSD =\
doing orbit-idl *.idl in that directory fixes all problems, except one:
[asmodai@daemon] (26) $ ../../idl-compiler/orbit-idl
CosTypedEventChannel.idl
CosTypedEventChannel.idl:16: Error: `CosEventChannelAdmin' undeclared
identifier
** WARNING **: Parse of CosTypedEventChannel.idl failed
But it isn't needed for ongoing compilation.
The same goes for the .idl's in test/
orbit-idl *.idl in the test directory ensures a complete run of (g)make.
