Problem is that I looked at a bunch of the autogen.sh scripts and they
each seem to need their own little tweaks. I guess that's why they are
there.:-)
The one thing that seems to be consistent now is that you should be in
your target directory when you call the autogen.sh and from what I can
tell, it likes to be called with a full pathname. I am giving that go
right now.
