This isn't the farthest you could get from solving the problem, but it's
pretty far.
Someone else suggested a good solution, which is to remove the
gnome-factory.h from the build directory so that it would be rebuilt. It's
supposed to rebuilt when the IDL compiler is updated, but that Makefile
functionality seems broken recently.
