Mentioned in slashdot many times, RMS wants libraries with no proprietary
equivalents to become GPLed. Libraries with proprietary equivalents should
be LGPLed. That goes for glibc, gtk, and gnome libraries, so I would guess
RMS would agree all GNOME libraries should be LGPLed...
