I guess if you are using docbook/xml, it would be theoretically possible
to embed a mathml equation. I don't know if it is possible to typeset
equations with the current docbook tools. It may be possible to insert
some TeX expressions that are not modified by the converters.
I am not sure exactly how to do this, and it would only work for the tex
based converters.
