drag and drop wishlist

It would be nice if you could make a pathname appear in a shell by
dragging it's associated file from the GUI file manager thing.  I
could type any command I want, such as:
   tail -f 
or 
   grep -i aksejf

then drag in the file I want to append to the command line.
