Installing GNOME on RH 5.2 from RH 6 RPMs

Subject: Installing GNOME on RH 5.2 from RH 6 RPMs

I would like to run Gnome on a Redhat 5.2 system that I am currently
reluctant to upgrade.  I have the red hat 6 CDs and I am wondering if
I an install thouse RPMs instead of dowloding 50 meg of files of
slightly older revisions to run with Red Hat 5.2.
