I've recently run into a problem where about half of the gnome modules I
check out of cvs fail with messages similar to the one below. They used
to work fine, and currently fail with cvs version 1.10.2 and 1.10.5. I
was able to check out the modules successfully on another machine with
1.9, so don't know if the problem is related to the version, platform, or
what. In each module, the failure is always on the same directory, so for
a long time I thought it was a problem with the server and kept waiting
for it to fix itself :) Now I realize the problem is on my end and I was
hoping someone out there has seen it before. ORBit always fails on
libIDL/ and gnumeric always fails on src/ for example. Any suggestions
appreciated. Thanks!
