i just want to point out a great little UI to everyone.  take a look at
Star Office 5.1 Deluxe (this may be on the dl'able version as well).  in
the 'explorer' the user can do a right click and add a new ftp account.
when this is done, the ftp account (let's say it's on your home network)
everytime Star Office opens...revealing to the user the file system on the
'other' machines.  i felt this was both intuitive and incredibly simple.  

i'm not sure how it works with a Window's box but i'm sure it would be
just fine....i'll hopefully see as soon as i can sneak a NIC into my
roomies machine ;-).  

this UI is strong and well designed.  in fact, the whole of the Star
Office UI is very well done.  not only is it beautiful, it's user friendly
as any program on the market.

sorry if i sound like i'm plugging star office.  i don't work for them i
swear! ;-) (just a really happy consumer of a star division product).
